TRANSPORT

Most of the hotels/ Riads in old town DO NOT have access by taxi/car to the hotel door in Marrakech and you will need to walk about 15/20 minutes in average. Also, we do not recommend using your own car to drive to the old medina as it will cause you more stress and more money for the parking.

The Public Bus number 17

  • Just outside the hotel you can catch the bus number 17 to go to JAMAA EL FNA SQUARE, the old Medina, souks - the Market. Also, if you wish you can get off to cross the road to walk to MAJORELLE GARDEN - City bus trip costs €0.50 per person each way -4 Moroccan dirham-

Local taxis

  • You can order taxi at the hotel reception or by WhatsApp message to the hotel reception, for returning to the hotel meeting point can be agreed for taxi pick up or by sharing you location - in average the hotel reception can order for you the public small taxi to pick you up from the hotel door or from the pick-up point - to return to the hotel- in 20 minutes standard cost for up to 3 people is €5 day rate per trip and €7 night rate per trip anywhere around town centre - old
  • For families and friends that they are more than 3 people, for affordable cost we recommend the Public Grand Taxi that cost €7 per trip as day rate and €10 evening rate.

MARRAKECH AIRPORT

Marrakech Airport has very strict procedure that everyone will have to go through to complete security and boarder check and it takes long time queening than you may expect. You will need to have the hotel address ready when you get to passport check/ stamp - you will get asked about where you are staying- The hotel is offering secured Airport transfer to the hotel door that you can book directly by contacting the hotel reception.

  • ON DEPARTURE you will need to allow minimum of 3 hours before your flight departure.
  • ON ARRIVAL to make any plans you should allow at less 2 hours.

Traveling to different cities in Morocco

  • For affordable cost we recommend getting the coach or the train - the Hotel reception will be able to assist you to book this option.
  • For premium service we recommend private driver - Hotel reception will be able to assist you to book this option.

Maison KA Hotel Located at the entrance to the medina, very close to the vibrant places in Marrakech, banks, food shops, coffee shops, busses, taxis all just outside the hotel. You can easily access to the hotel door by car or taxi at any time.

As you are coming out of Maison KA Hotel to the main road to go to Medina – old town city centre it will be on your left. On your right you will find the banks for -ATM- local coffee shops, Macdonald, and restaurants. Also, as you are coming of the hotel you can just cross the road explore, Take away shops, pizzerias, snacks areas and plenty of local shops. You can see from the hotel top roof the main road and the old town to have idea about where you are.
